A beautiful wooden clock of a harp — handmade in County Roscommon — has ended up in Brazil. The clock, made by Derrycashel Crafts, in North Roscommon was sold to customers in Boyle Craft Shop who transported the wooden harp to its new home in Carolina City — a municipality in the state of Maranhao in the north-east region of Brazil. Derrycashel Crafts — an enterprise run by Tom and Maura Noone — is widely known for their “clocks of distinctions”. It is a family-run business based in Derrycashel, Corrigeenroe, Boyle.
